Woodville, WI – March 18, 2026: Post-race penalties have been levied following the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour Sunshine State 200 at Five Flags Speedway on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The driver of the #33 ASA Super Late Model, Dustin Smith, has been found to be in violation of ASA STARS National Tour General Rules Section 1 Conduct, A General Conduct Rules 1 Unsportsmanlike Conduct; Rule 6 Rough Driving; and ASA STARS National Tour Yellow Flag Procedures. Driver Dustin Smith engaged in driving deemed as dangerous, passing cars under a yellow flag condition, intentionally swerving in front of and blocking another car. The driver/team has been issued the following penalties.
– Fine of $250.
– Driver placed on probation for 6-months at all ASA sanctioned events.
Driver Dustin Smith has been found to be in violation of ASA STARS National Tour General Rules Section 1 Conduct, A General Conduct, Rule 1 Unsportsmanlike Conduct; and Rule 8 Crew on Track. Dustin Smith accessed a hot race track/pit road propelling an object towards another race car onto the racing surface. The driver/team has been issued the following penalties.
– Fine of $250
– Driver placed on probation for 6-months at all ASA sanctioned events.
Driver Dustin Smith has been served a letter of warning for conduct deemed as use of profanity in the presence of race fans during a TV/PA interview. These actions are in violation of ASA STARS National Tour General Rules Section 1 Conduct, A General Conduct Rule 1 Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
