Nashville, TN – Officials with Winston Speedway and Champion Racing Association have released the Entry Forms for the Labor Day Weekend of racing for all four CRA divisions including the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance, the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS, and the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS. The four-in-one weekend of racing begins on Saturday and runs through Sunday with over 300 laps of racing scheduled for the weekend.
Action begins on Saturday with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. It’s the first visit to Winchester Speedway since a 2022 Champion was crowned. Winchester has been known for rewarding the underdog in recent years, with several drivers collecting their first-ever CRA win at the Historic High Banks. Names like William Sawalich, Nick Egan, Stephen Nasse, Corey Deuser, Brandon Oakley, Travis Braden, and even NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Chase Elliott had his JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour breakthrough at Winchester. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will be accompanied by the Vore’s Compact Touring Series on Saturday along with the Midwest Thunder Roadsters.

On Sunday, the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS unloads for the only tune-up event for the prestigious Winchester 400. What some will see as a 100-lap test session, will also award points toward the ASA/CRA Super Series Championship, plus cash and contingency awards. Gio Ruggiero, who opened the season with a win at Salem Speedway, continues to show the was in the hunt for the Championship with a 71-point advantage over Logan Bearden.

Also, a part of the Sunday show is the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman 40. The event was originally scheduled to be the penultimate event of the 2023 points-paying season, however, due to a rescheduled event, the race is now a potential curveball to the championship points standings. Caleb Reschar holds a slim eight-point advantage over Logan Huckeba heading into the weekend at Winchester. Reschar collected a win earlier this season, his first at Anderson Speedway.

As for the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS, they’ll also compete on Sunday for their 40 lap contest. Dalton Conner is looking for his first CRA Street Stock Championship as he leads the standings over Andrew Teepe by 30 points. Much like the CRA Late Model Sportsman, this event is just three from crowning a champion, meaning drivers will be fighting even harder for every available position.
