Winchester, Ind. – Ohio’s Albert Francis has officially entered the 54th running of the Winchester 400, adding another experienced short track racer to the field for one of the crown jewels of Super Late Model racing. The 400-lap classic, sanctioned by the ASA STARS National Tour, is set for this Sunday, October 12 at the legendary Winchester Speedway.
Francis, from Painesville, Ohio, is a former Track Champion at Jennerstown Speedway and former winner at Toledo Speedway. Francis has proven his ability to contend at some of the region’s toughest and fastest facilities. In ASA STARS National Tour competition, he has Top 10 finishes at Madison International Speedway, the Milwaukee Mile, Anderson Speedway, Owosso Speedway and Toledo Speedway.
The 54th Running of the Winchester 400 presented by Vore’s Welding and Steel takes place on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Winchester Speedway. Racing action kicks off on Friday night with the CRA JEGS All Stars Tour while Saturday features ASA STARS National Tour Practice, CorvetteParts.Net Pole Qualifying as well as racing action including the Modifieds, CRA Street Stocks and CRA Late Model Sportsman.
