Newton, NC – The stars of the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour and Southern Super Series are set to return to the iconic Hickory Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 22, and fans can now secure their seats with discounted advance sale tickets for the Ross & Witmer 255 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch.

With just one month to go before one of the most anticipated short track events of the season, fans can save $5 off race day pricing by purchasing in advance. Seniors and Military receive an even better deal with advance sale tickets priced at just $20.

The 2025 edition of the Ross & Witmer 255 marks the third visit by the ASA STARS National Tour to Hickory, and the series’ past visits have produced thrilling finishes. In 2023, Gio Ruggiero edged out NASCAR Cup Series star William Byron, while in 2024, Cole Butcher claimed victory over ’24 series champion Casey Roderick.

Now, Butcher leads the ASA STARS National Tour standings by 50 points over his Donnie Wilson Racing teammate Gavan Boschele. Rounding out the current top five in points are Stephen Nasse, Matt Craig, and Carson Brown.

Also expected to compete in this star-studded event are Platinum by Rackley full-timers including: Bubba Pollard, Austin Nason, Derek Thorn, Kyle Steckly, Derek Kraus, Dawson Sutton, George Phillips, Chase Pinsonneault, Ty Fredrickson, and Johnny Sauter. Several other part-timers have already entered the event as well.

Fans will also be treated to action from the exciting INEX Legends division, making for a full night of racing at one of the Southeast’s most historic short tracks.

Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour for pavement Super Late Model stock cars debuted in March 2023.

The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different racetracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
