The ‘Stars and Cars’ of the ASA Midwest Tour roll into Grundy County Speedway TONIGHT (Saturday, July 8), for the 100-lap Wayne Carter Classic presented by Rod Baker Ford & D’Arcy Chevrolet.
Current Midwest Tour points leader Gabe Sommers of Plover, Wis., leads the late model series regulars into the Illinois oval to take on Grundy’s best, led by current track points leader and seven-time track champion Eddie Hoffman, a three-time Carter Classic winner, and defending track champion D.J. Weltmeyer.
Grandstands Saturday open at 3:00 pm with time trials at 5:30 pm and the first race getting the green flag at 7:00 pm.

Grundy County Speedway is located in Morris, Ill., on Illinois Route 47, about two miles north of Interstate 80.
