The ARCA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment and Lester Buildings is proud to announce that Miller Welders will be presenting a Millermatic 211 welder valued at $1,350 to the fast qualifier of the Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial 150 presented by RaceTeamGear.com. Miller Welders has long been a sponsor for the ARCA Midwest Tour, and the Pole Award only accentuates their involvement.
Andy Weyenberg from Miller Welders explains about the award.
“The Millermatic 211’s ability to run on both 115Volt and 230Volt power makes it the perfect machine for at track repairs and still have the power for use in the shop,” said Weyenberg. “By sponsoring the Pole Award, we get another welder in the hands of someone who will use it. In addition to the pole award, we provide the ARCAMT with a welder at each event. This welder can be used to repair your car or just take it for a test drive. We know that buying a Miller Welder is a lot easier after you get to try them out. Seven of the top Ten Sprint Cup teams rely on Miller Welders to build their cars.”
Sponsoring the Pole Award is another example of how not only Miller Welders but many in the racing community revered Howie Lettow and are excited to honor his legacy.
“Howie was already an icon even when I was racing around the Midwest in the 90’s,” said Weyenberg. “We all respected him and wished just a speck of his knowledge would fall into our laps. It’s still with a soft spot in our hearts that we honor him at this race. This is just our small way to be involved in one of the best races of the year.”
The involvement of Miller Welders with the ARCA Midwest Tour is a no brainer in the eyes of Weyenberg.
“We consider it a win-win anytime you can partner with an organization whose members need to use your products on a regular basis,” said Weyenberg.
ARCA Midwest Tour Vice President Steve Einhaus appreciates the involvement from Miller Welders.
