Midpack Payback Bonuses Announced for ASA Midwest Tour

Oregon, WI- A new ‘Midpack Payback Bonus’ has been announced for the 2024 ASA Midwest Tour Season, adding purse monies to six Tour Super Late Model events this summer. The new program will boost the pay structure, with sixth place now earning $1,000 for their efforts and sixteenth being awarded $800. All told, the ‘Midpack Payback Bonus’ will add over $14,000 to teams’ earnings this season on the Midwest Tour in addition to the $27,500 established Championship Point Fund and over $25,000 of Travel Incentive Program funds and Performance Bonus Awards.

“This is something that we are quite proud of, being able to add to the meat of our purses. Now a team that may have an off night or one that is just getting going in their Super Late Model program can have a midpack finish and still have their tires, fuel and even some pit passes covered by the purse.” Midwest Tour Series Director Gregg McKarns pointed out. “We continue to have strong fan support for our Tour events and because of that we are able to keep building the purses for our teams. This is another example of that at play.”

The first ‘Midpack Payback Bonus’ will be part of the ASA Midwest Tour Season Opening event at Slinger Super Speedway on Sunday afternoon April 21, followed by Jefferson Speedway, Grundy County Speedway, State Park Speedway, Hawkeye Downs and Elko Speedway in September. Teams wishing to learn more about this program as well as the Travel Incentive Program are encouraged to contact Gregg McKarns at gm@misracing.com.
