Majeski Will Have to Pass Them All on Friday Night at MIS

Oregon, WI- If Ty Majeski is to win his record third Howie Lettow Classic, he will have to pass the entire feature starting grid in just 100 laps to claim the $5,000 top prize this Friday Night (August 23, 2024) at Madison International Speedway. The Five-time ASA Midwest Tour Champion will start last in a packed field which includes past event winners Paul Shafer, Jr and Casey Johnson, former Tour Champion Dalton Zehr, defending Tour Champion and current point leader Gabe Sommers as well as Touring stars Levon VanDerGeest and Justin Mondeik.

As noted on his social media channels, Majeski has a Menards appearance earlier in the day in conjunction with this Sunday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at the Milwaukee Mile, forcing him to miss qualifying for the ASA Midwest Tour Super Late Models Friday Night at Madison. The Seymour, WI native will then ‘race’ across the state in hopes of arriving at MIS in time for the 100-lap feature event. Currently the entry list for Friday Night sits just shy of 30 drivers chasing the Checkered Flag. Majeski last visited victory lane at Madison in May following the Joe Shear Classic 200.

The Midwest Truck Series will also be in action this Friday night with the Hougan Farms 30.

The night and 2024 oval season will conclude with the ‘Area’s Biggest and Best Fireworks Display’.
