Kody Evans To Make ARCA Debut

Mooresville, North Carolina (Friday, September 18, 2015): Seventeen-year-old Kody Evans will make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut Saturday evening at the Salem Speedway, driving the No. 78 Chevrolet for Mason Mitchell Motorsports.

Evans is a standout of the JEGS/ CRA All-Star tour. The Camden, Ohio, teenager is no stranger to success at the ultra- high banked Salem Speedway. In two prior starts at the half-mile Evans has one top-five and two top-ten finishes with a best finish of fourth.

“This is a huge deal for us to be making our ARCA debut with a great team like MMM,” Evans stated. “Salem is such a fun track to race at. There’s such a big difference from one end of the track to the other. It makes for a challenge driving completely different at both ends.”

“We’re excited to have Adesa Auto Auctions, Cassel Insurance Co. and Performance Transport all on board for my first ARCA race. Our goal is to complete all 200 laps, earn respect from the competitors and come out with a top-ten finish. I believe it’s possible.”
