(Kaukauna, WI) – One of NASCAR’s bright rising stars is headed back to his short track roots. Carson Hocevar, full-time driver in the NASCAR Cup Series for Spire Motorsports is set to run the Gandrud Auto Group 250 on Tuesday August 4th at Wisconsin International Raceway. Hocevar is having a breakout season in the NASCAR Cup ranks highlighted by a win at Talladega and currently sits 7th in the NASCAR Cup Series Point Standings.
Hocevar has won some big events on the short track scene as well. He’s a three time Money in the Bank winner at Berlin Raceway, and a former winner of the Redbud 400 at Anderson Speedway, Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway, and the Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway. He’s also a former winner with the CRA Super Series at Flat Rock Speedway and two time Series winner at Lebanon I-44 Speedway.
Tickets for the Gandrud Auto Group 250 are on sale now and fans are encouraged to purchase in advance to save and skip the lines on race day. Advance general admission tickets are $25, while tickets at the gate on race day will be $30. Kids 12 and under are admitted FREE with a paid adult. Joining the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA Midwest Tour presented by Five Star Bodies on Tuesday night will be the Midwest Truck Series for the Dixieland Delight 35, making for a full evening of exciting racing action.
