Three-time ASA Midwest Tour Champion and 2021 Oktoberfest 200 winner Casey Johnson has filed an entry for Friday night’s Dick Trickle “99” Super Late Model event at the 54th Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, Wisconsin.
Johnson, who has been primarily focused on helping Barrett Polhemus run for Rookie of the Year in the ASA Midwest Tour, is happy to be back behind the wheel this weekend.
“Extremely excited,” Johnson exclaimed. “We went to Rockford last week to shake our car down as it has been sitting awhile and it had really good speed. So we are looking forward to see how it runs at Fest.”
The Dick Trickle “99” is a unique race event that is broken into three 33-lap segments with drivers scoring the least amount of points in each segment. The driver with the lowest points at the end of the three segments is the overall winner.
