Dec 12, 2013-The ARCA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment and Lester Buildings is proud to announce the 2014 schedule.*

The ARCA Midwest Tour and the CRA Super Series will both open their perspective seasons at the famed Toledo Speedway with the Border Wars 7-Up 150 on Friday and Saturday, April 11th and 12th.

The Tour will then kick off the remainder of the season with the 6th Annual Joe Shear Classic on May 3rd and 4th at Madison International Speedway. For the past five years, the 100 lap event has been a fan favorite to kick off the racing season in the Midwest.

As the Tour leaves the half-miles behind for a while, they head to the historic short track of State Park Speedway on Saturday, May 17th for the State Park Speedway 125.

Border Wars II will roll into Illiana Motor Speedway on Sunday and Monday, May 25th and 26th of Memorial Day weekend. This will mark the return to Illiana for both the Midwest Tour and the CRA Super Series for a 150 lap showdown.

The highly anticipated event at the Milwaukee Mile makes the biggest move of the year. The 3rd annual ARCA Fest Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial 150 will take place on a weekend for the first time, June 6th-8th. Procedural changes will allow fans to see live pit stops. Another huge addition to the event is a Pro Late Model event sanctioned by the CRA Jegs All-Stars Tour. ARCAFest.com will once again have all of the latest information. Reserved ticket sales will go on sale March 1st and can be purchased through ARCAFest.com.

On June 20th the cars and stars of the ARCA Midwest Tour will head to Chicagoland for the prestigious Wayne Carter Classic Calypso Lemonade 100 at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, IL

The ARCA Midwest Tour will return to Dells Raceway Park for a 100 lap event on Saturday, June 28th. Last year’s sell out crowd proved that fans wanted to be at the center of short track racing in Wisconsin.

After a several year hiatus, the series will be heading back to Wisconsin International Raceway on August 9th for their largest Saturday night special event of the season sponsored by Calypso Lemonade. This is always an exciting event on the schedule and one you won’t want to miss.

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan will once again come to life Friday, August 15th as the Touring Stars of the ARCA Midwest Tour will invade Norway Speedway, which has been dominated by local talent in previous years.

Racers and fans agree that Elko Speedway is considered the Taj Mahal of short tracks in the U.S. The Tour returns on Sept 20th for the Thunderstruck 93 weekend honoring Dan Ryan while benefiting the ALS foundation.

A season of excitement comes to an end at Oktoberfest in La Crosse, WI, but not until a champion is crowned. In 2014, the Sunday championship weekend for Wisconsin’s oldest and most prestigious event will see some major format changes to bring excitement and fan interaction to an already successful event. More details will be announced at a later date for the October 4th and 5th event.

The ARCA Midwest Tour looks forward to its best season yet with eleven different tracks spanning over a seven month season. The cars and stars of the Tour will highlight super late model racing around the Midwest.
