The highly anticipated 2013 racing season for the newly sanctioned ARCA Midwest Tour is right around the corner and open registration for all Super Late Model competitors has begun. All Drivers, Owners, and Crew Members that have intentions to purchase a formal license with the ARCA Midwest Tour can click on the link above to submit their application. Drivers and Owners are required to hold an ARCAMT License, while crew members are encouraged to obtain a license. Temporary one day licenses will be available at each event for anyone visiting the series on a part time or one-event basis.

Please note that this link is for the Super Late Model division ONLY and does not include the Midwest Truck Tour licensing program.

“We are really excited for the new online format which allows us streamline the registration process so drivers that are needing to purchase a full or temporary license can input their information and print the form along with their entry form and mail it in to the series office. This format will save so much time for both the teams and the series,” stated series VP Steve Einhaus.

All registration protocols will remain the same with the exception of combined Owner/Drivers. In the past, drivers that were also the owner of the team were not required to purchase an owner’s license. In the new system, combined Owner/Drivers must purchase a combination license that is discounted for their participation.

Drivers and Owners must be fully registered in the ARCA Midwest Tour in order to receive point fund and contingency awards along with discounted entry fees and event pit passes. ARCA License holders (once approved) are able to use their license in any of the ARCA Racing Family of Divisions including ARCA CRA and the ARCA Racing Series national tour.

All registrants that are interested in holding an ARCA license must input their information on the form, print, sign, and mail to the ARCA Racing Series offices at the address listed on the top of the form. Licenses will be processed and mailed directly to each registrant. Drivers planning to earn points in more then one division (ie CRA) must hold a formal license in both divisions.

The ARCA Midwest Tour offers an extensive amount of driver bonuses for official ARCA members. Members will be eligible for the Touring Star bonus program, event contingency awards, and over $85,000 in cash and special prizes at the Championship Banquet. An all new Contingency Program will be unveiled in early 2013 boasting large cash bonuses and product awards that will be available only to officially registered ARCA Midwest Tour Members. ARCA members also receive the $500,000 excess medical insurance policy available to them at all sanctioned events.

“We are changing up our contingency program to make our whole program more appealing by giving competitors cash in their hands. As a series we are stepping up to reward our officially registered ARCA Midwest Tour Members by changing our certificate program to primarily cash awards. We’ll be announcing the full details of that program in early January 2013,” added Einhaus.

Series registration will lock in car numbers for all competitors that finished in the top 20 in points during the 2012 racing season. All other competitors can submit their number and registrant information for approval by ARCA Racing and the ARCA Midwest Tour.

The ARCA Midwest Tour will also announce a newly formatted Touring Star Program that will add new incentive for current Touring Stars, Rookie of the Year Candidates, and new competitors trying to race into the 2013 bonus program. More information on the new program will be rolled out in 2013.

The official 2013 ARCA Midwest Tour schedule will be announced at the ARCA Display at that International Motorsports Industry Show in Indianapolis, IN on December 6th-8th. An aggressive schedule with tighter travel requirements keeping the series close to home is sure to be appealing to competitors. History will be made at two events that will feature double-headers between ARCA CRA and the ARCA Midwest Tour as the nation’s top drivers come together at Toledo Speedway and Madison International Speedway. Stop by the ARCA display to get more information on the benefits of becoming an official ARCA Member and to learn about all the events of the upcoming 2013 season. Series VP Steve Einhaus will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about new and exciting information for the ARCA Midwest Tour.
