120+ Cars Complete Practice Day At Milwaukee Mile

Father’s Day Racing Up Next For Historic Oval

ARCA Midwest Tour Practice Results

(West Allis, WI) The Milwaukee Mile pits were packed Saturday afternoon, June 15, for an open practice day, leading up to the Father’s Day Sunday return to racing at the popular oval. 120+ competitors were on track, fine tuning their machines.

In all, five different classes of race vehicles were on track including the headline division, the ARCA Midwest Tour. That series will be competing in a 100-lap event on Sunday afternoon, with over 40 cars on the entry list. Wisconsin’s own, Luke Fenhaus and Ty Majeski, were atop the board in overall speeds.

The Mid-American Stock Cars, Upper Midwest Vintage Series, Midwest Trucks, and the Vintage Indy Registry were also on track, getting ready for Sunday’s action.

Sunday’s event at the track will mark the return to racing after a five year hiatus for the Wisconsin State Fair Park facility. The event is being promoted by Track Enterprises, of Macon, IL, a veteran of race promotions.

Reserved and general admission tickets will be available at the ticket office on raceday, for those who did not purchase theirs in advance. Reserved seats will be $30 at the gate, while general admission seating is $25. Infield viewing tickets will be $20. Tickets for kids 11 and under will be $5.

Pits open Sunday at 7:00 AM, the box office and grandstands open at 9:00, practice will be at 9:30, qualifying at 11:00, and racing will take the green at 1:00 PM.
