July 24, 2015 – There are several reasons you will want to attend the ARCA Midwest Tour presented by Scag Power Equipment Potawatomi Dixieland 250 presented by Calypso Lemonade at Wisconsin International Raceway on August 4th. Not only is the tradition of one of the most prestigious events in Midwest racing history returning to one of the most challenging tracks on the circuit, but it will be a representation of the Who’s Who in short track racing, with top names from all over the country making their way to the D-shaped half-mile.

Ty Majeski, the 2014 ARCA Midwest Tour Champion and Rookie of the Year, is one of the hottest drivers in the country right now. He has won eight races at eight different tracks, including one win at New Smyrna during Speedweeks in Florida, and is the current point leader of the ARCA Midwest Tour. He has been to victory lane in two special events at WIR, including the Red Race in 2014 and the TUNDRA event earlier this year.

He finished 2nd in points at Slinger Super Speedway in 2014 and raced with the ARCA Midwest Tour in 2013. Most notably, Prunty won the super late model championship at both Dells Raceway Park and Slinger Super Speedway in 2012. Prunty has also become an annual force at the famed Snowball Derby in Pensacola, FL.
