Expected Super Late Model Entry List

West Salem, WI – It is just a week away from the 56th Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, WI. Fest organizers are already seeing a high number of expected entries for Super Late Model divisions competing over the four days from October 2-5th.
As of this release, 45 expected entries have already notified promoters their intention to compete one or more Super Late Model events.
Many will compete in Thursday’s Futures or Knights 22-lap events.
The Futures event is open to under the age of 30 that have never finished in the top three of the Midwest Tour Points or anyone over 30 that have never run in a previous Oktoberfest 200, NASCAR Touring/ASAMT/ASA/ARTGO or any of NASCAR’s top three Series. Driver Registration is Subject to Approval.
The Knights event is open to all non Futures eligible drivers.
Both events are part of the 88 laps of late model feature racing honoring the Blue Knight Tom Reffner. The La Crosse NASCAR Late Models will also be competing in two 22-lap feature events on Thursday night.
The next opportunity for the Super Late Models will be on Friday to compete in the popular Dick Trickle 99 event. This event is broken down to three 33-lap segments with the driver scoring lowest amount of points being declared the winner. This is the only event that Dick Trickle agreed to have this event named after him. He also competed in the first event in 2007.
The ASA Midwest Tour will headline the Super Late Model action on Saturday and Sunday, with the four-day event ending with the Oktoberfest 200-lap event.
One of the tightest points battle in history with Gabe Sommers having a 3-point lead over Casey Johnson heading into the season finale. Sommers is looking for third straight title with Johnson going for his fourth ASAMT championship.
Ty Majeski will be looking for his fifth Oktoberfest 200 victory, which will tie him for fifth overall alongside the late Joe Shear.
Two-time NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series National Champion will be competing the #47 Chase Motorsports car.
Skylar Holzhausen returns to Super Late Model action with a new TOBYcar.
Defending Dick Trickle 99 winner Ty Fredrickson is looking for a big weekend after winning the Thunderstruck 93 last weekend at Elko Speedway in Elko, MN.
Penn Sauter is looking join his grandfather, father, and cousin as a Fest winner.
Andrew Morrissey will be back going for a third Oktoberfest 200 victory.
These are a small handful of drivers who will be a part of the 56th Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend.
