Jefferson, WI- When the ‘Stars and Cars’ invade Jefferson Speedway on Saturday night May 28 for the ‘Salute the Troops 100’ they will now be racing for $3,500 to win the 25 car feature event. Thanks to the newly formed ‘Midwest is Best Bonus’ fund, this annual event now pays $700 to start with a total of $2,500 added to the popular Memorial Day Weekend race at ‘Wisconsin’s Action Track’. Joining the Super Late Models will be two first time visitors to the quarter mile paved oval, the 602 Outlaw Late Model Tour and Midwest Dash Series will compete in preliminary events as well as extended length features.
Qualifying is set to begin at 4:30pm with the first race at 6pm. Adult tickets are $20, Seniors and Youth are $15, Kids ages 8-11 are $5 with children ages 7 & under admitted Free. Active and Reserve Military will save $5 on admission and receive a $5 Concession Voucher. Jefferson Speedway is located at W8135 US Highway 18 between Cambridge and Jefferson, WI.
