Kaukauna, WI- Race fans attending the Forest County Potawatomi ‘Dixieland 250’ ARCA Midwest Tour event this Tuesday night, August 2 at Wisconsin International Speedway will be invited to partake in a fun contest put together by the event’s sponsor. As fans enter the gates, they will be able to enter the ‘Forest County Potawatomi Fan Contest’ which will reward a total of $1000 in gift cards, ten $100 cards to ten lucky fans throughout the evening. Prizes will be given to fans which predict the lap closest to: First Caution Flag, First Lead Change, Final Caution Flag and the Final Lead Change. Additionally prizes will be awarded amongst those correctly entering the Number of Positions Improved by the Race Hard Charger and five $100 gift cards will be drawn for amongst those that pick the Dixieland 250 winner.
“This should add an extra element of fun.” Stated ARCA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment President Gregg McKarns. “Everyone at Forest County Potawatomi has gotten behind short track racing in our region, and that is great to see. They wanted to do something to give back to the fans, so we came up with this, it reminds me of some of the contests we used to have amongst our group sitting in the stands when I was growing up.”
Spectator gates will open at 4pm on Tuesday August 2 at Wisconsin International Raceway. Fans are invited to partake in the post-qualifying autograph session in the grandstands, racing action which includes the always exciting Big 8 Late Model Series will begin at 7pm. Adult general admission tickets are just $15, ages 12 & under are admitted FREE. WIR is located in Kaukauna, WI at the intersection of Hwy 55 and County Road KK.
