Third consecutive season the ARCA Midwest Tour joins CRA’s premier tour in the Glass City
Salem, Indiana (March 6, 2015) – Officials from the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS have released the entry forms for the season opening 7-UP 100 on April 11th at Toledo Speedway, located in Toledo, Ohio. The ARCA Midwest Tour teams have been invited to participate again. This will be the third consecutive season that the two series have worked together with this event, both the 2013 and 2014 events were very successful. The ARCA Gold Cup Outlaw Late Models will also be a part of this year’s event with their own 100 lap feature.
“We are really looking forward to opening our 2015 points season at Toledo Speedway again,” remarked Glenn Luckett, Managing Partner with Champion Racing Association. “This has really become a great event, having the best of the ARCA/CRA Super Series racing against the best of the ARCA Midwest Tour, plus the other top late model racers that come in for this event from around the country, makes this a race everyone wants to win and watch!”
The ARCA Midwest Tour and the ARCA/CRA Super Series will have a co-sanctioned event again at Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville, Indiana on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th. The Chicagoland 150 will be a marquee event for both series.
Things will begin at Toledo Speedway with an Open Practice on Friday, April 10th. Pits will open at 11am with hauler parking. Tech will open at 1pm. Open Practice will go from 3 to 7pm. At 7:30pm there will be a dinner that evening with details to be announced.
Pit Gates open on Saturday, April 11th at 8am, ARCA/CRA Super Series practice will go from 10 to 11am. ARCA Gold Cup Outlaw Late Model practice will go from 11am until 12 noon. Qualifying will begin at 1pm, for both groups. There will be an on track Autograph Session with all the drivers following qualifying. The race program will begin at 3pm with any Last Chance Races. The 7-UP 100 for the ARCA/CRA Super Series will be the first feature, the ARCA Gold Cup Outlaw Late Model 100 lap feature will follow.
